Welcome to the fortysixth issue of KWUK’s KiloWatt. This week’s Message from the Regional Leadership comes from Regional Development Director Wayne Albutt, who answers the question – How do I position myself in the way of the Market?

September’s Town Hall is just two weeks away; make sure Thursday 16th September is marked in your diary. The business updates, market updates and regional announcements will begin at 4:00 pm.

As of this morning, KWCares.org has donated over $400k in relief grants to assist those impacted by Hurricane Ida. As per Jay Papasan, KW has “also sent our relief trucks loaded with food, water, generators to assist on the ground.”

You can contribute by donating to KWCares – www.KWCares.org

For our US based colleagues, “we are not yet ready for volunteers on the ground. So please wait until we give the signal that conditions on the ground are safe for us to lend a hand.”

Thank you for doing your part in supporting those suffering as a consequence of this awful natural disaster, we are keeping them in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Quote of the Week

“Long hours spent checking off a to-do list and ending the day with a full trash can and a clean desk are not virtuous and have nothing to do with success. Instead of a to-do list, you need a success list—a list that is purposefully created around extraordinary results.”

– Gary Keller, The One Thing, Page 35

Culture in Action

14. In building a team, never recruiting associates from within your own Market Centre without first discussing it with and receiving your Team Leader’s prior approval.
